The Knight of Shadows

Chinese version of big budget fluff. Good effects for China--their standards are still a couple years behind Hollywood, a superstar, and an inoffensive plot. There's a little bit of humor, a little bit of action, and a little bit of cutesy monsters doing cutesy stuff. This'll pass the time, but not much else.

Filled to capacity with merchandisable animated characters. The story could only be loved by children. At first, it seemed amusing, but unless you are under 12 years old, it will likely bore you as much as it did me. I actually fell asleep in the middle of it. The animated characters and human characters are sometimes comical but ultimately quite boring and tedious. Great for small children, but not worthwhile for adults.
