Even from the start director W.S. Van Dyke worked with the most interesting people. For The Lady of the Dugout (1918) he's filming real wild west outlaws Al & Frank Jennings for one of their spinning tales from back when they were robbing folks in the 1890s. A fine 1910s western feature, with it starring real life outlaws being the real curio here.
