Richard Barthelmess as a strange looking Mexican! Not sure how well the casting for the lead was here. I've seen worse. What was good casting was Fred Kohler as the heavy bad guy! Easy to hate in a good way. Couple of nice women in Mary Astor & Marian Nixon. The story has some highs, but is kept from reaching it's potential because of the era it's made. The 'cattle delivery' was a cool touch! And there was isolated moments that was alive with Barthelmess actually giving it the intensity needed.
