Intense and compact telling of a COVID quarantine on a cruise ship is like its own trim and efficient short story, while providing a chilling micro view of the macro global situation. Packs a lot of insight and observation into its brisk 40 minutes, allowing the audience to become invested in the highlighted cruise guest, as well as the inhabitants of the “downstairs”. Beautifully observed and well done – one to return to as a marker of the mood and tone of 2020.
