The Last of the High Kings

I really enjoy this movie. It has a good messgae and plot about what you go through as you graduate school and have to decide what to do next. Not necessarily the deepest movie but I enjoy it.

Interesting story set in Ireland in the late 70's. A young man stresses over his final school grades and his chances to continue his education. Meanwhile, his mother played excellently by Catherine O'Hara is entertaining in her zeal for national pride and upcoming local elections. His thespian father is mostly absent. He plans a beach party with his long time buddies. There is plenty of plot turns in this coming of age movie with cute teenagers and a somewhat predictable ending.
