The Life of a Horse Trader

Toshirô Mifune as a horse trader, sumo wrestler and single dad in the rural northern region of Japan provides quite a entertaining and often very expressive picture. There is a little bit of a lull during the middle part, or at least that's when I was feeling least interested in what was going on, but otherwise it was a film I was drawn to thanks to its less subtle approach.
