The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

The simple (and sometimes bizarre) animation shows its age, and the pacing is more relaxed than we've grown used to, but this movie has a certain primal power that lends gravitas to its venerable source material. I ultimately prefer the 2005 live-action version, but this one's no slouch, either.

Excellent animated version of the C.S Lewis story great for all ages.

Not nearly as bad as the live-action BBC miniseries, but that's not saying much.

I haven't read the book, nor have I seen this movie for ages. However, I do remember enjoying it a lot as a kid.

first saw this as a kid, always loved it.

The animation is almost surreal in this version. I also recall that they cut out a great deal of the story even though it was already fairly short.
