The Little Mermaid

I can really appreciate that this low budget company tried to make something ambitious. They failed miserably, but I admire the effort.

Oh gawd, this was a miserable sit-through! I'm especially partial to hating this since the original fable and many adaptations of the story happen to be among my favorites. I don't even mind the terrible production value of this film, but I'm offended by how sluggish and unimaginative the plotline was. Underdeveloped characters, narration within narration within narration, some very, very poor performances and nonsensical ending. Pass!
