The Little Traitor

Disappointingly uneven. Molina is excellent, but the rest of the cast is so mediocre they even drag him down. Child lead Ido Port is uncharismatic, and Heuberger and Stern as his parents are unimpressive. The one thing Roth captures very successfully is the humor of the book. The novel is touching AND funny, and this is transferred aptly to the screen. However, much of the acting plus some shitty cinematography and editing amount to directorial failure.
