The Lost Coast Tapes

I gave it a chance despite the fact that it might be just another below average found footage film. And while I don't expect films to uncover everything, it would have been nice to catch a glimpse of whatever was freaking them out so horribly. Yet when you do at the very last shot, it's just ridiculous. And the Blair Witch "I'm so sorry" scene was just as unnecessary. To sum it up, don't waste your time on this.

Spoiler it doesn't even have Bigfoot. It's just dumb movie about aliens.

Of the literal dozens of Blair Witch Project ripoffs that have flooded the market for almost a decade and a half, The Lost Coast Tapes, though very late on the scene, is possibly the most imitative. Needless to say, it is no Blair Witch Project. It just shows nothing scary, very obviously for lack of budget, instead rocking and shaking its cameras at some really terrible blood-spotted actors. Avoid this.

Making a flick centered around finding bigfoot seems like a decent enough premise for a suspense/thriller, but then adding more "monsters" while keeping the mockumentary style just seems like a clusterfuck. In fact, the more I think about this flick, the less I like it
