A mediocre adaptation of the classic play Carmen. But it's got Rita Hayworth! Not quite Carmen, but feisty enough. And then you got Glenn Ford as the fool, really looking the fool. Great actor, poorly cast for this one. This role did NOT scream Glenn Ford. You're still left with classic play, Rita Hayworth and Technicolor, so one can easily fool oneself thinking this is good.
