The Man Who Invented Christmas

My probable score for this one was only average but I drew a number of new conclusions from watching this and really quite enjoyed it, although admittedly it was not a revolutionary new piece of film.

The ending could have been a bit better, but I enjoyed the story being told through Dickens' writing process.

It gets better along the way, but the first steps were less interesting and Dickens' character might be grating or cliché for some. I guess it's a kid's movie so one can be more forgiving, but more like an older kid's movie, as the topics of debts, the publishing business, and of Dickens' writings might not be understood by a too young audience.

It was a decent back story of the classic.
