Connolly is watchable in just about anything, and his charisma carries this script on its back. It has good ideas about insurance companies and the use of God's name as an excuse for profit, but it fumbles in the execution. I kept waiting for it to step up and do something, to let Connolly loose or brilliantly cross-examine witnesses in court. It never really did. There are funny moments, but the movie could have done much better with such a great concept. The cockatoo ending is disastrous.
