A straight remake of Warren William's The Mouthpiece (1932), with George Brent in the lead. I recognized the scenes as if I'd seen this before, that's how identical they followed the original. Pretty good, except the drama at the end wasn't as effectively carved out as the earlier portions of this crooked lawyer story. Still definitely worth the time.
