A really fun Jimmy Wang Yu flick where he's a cop who travels to Australia to take down some smugglers. Super funky tunes, casual racism, and some hilarious dubbing for Wang Yu. Not only does Jimmy get to chop socky his way through tons of bad dudes, he does his best Bond impression by performing some very cool stunt driving and nailing a couple of sexy white chicks. I've never seen a Jimmy Wang Yu sex scene before, and now I've seen two. Please pass the boric acid for my eyes.

It's got an absurd plot and is packed with 70's action cheese but it's not terrible, just really campy. Some of the action scenes are actually impressive too as the "kung-fu" gives way to seriously brawling like chair and food throwing. It won't blow your mind but if you're into some cheesy 70's action I can guarantee this'll hit the spot.

Very funny, great action and sometimes campy. Does Wang really have such a deep and American voice? Lol. "Hey, don't give me any SHIT!"

BTS movies can be hard to swallow. The way I feel is he has no head for plotting or dialogue, but he has great feel for action and spectacle. Finishing up with a skyscraper bit with a a view over the Sydney Opera House was cool and shows the effort was taken to make the best movie they could, at least in some respect. Requires a slightly different mindset but I appreciate this much more after watching his early stuntwork documentaries.

Some pretty decent stunt and fights on the one hand, extremely cheesy and cheap on the other. It makes for a pretty entertaining whole, with the most hilarious romantic montage I've seen in a while as a bonus.

Surprisingly solid early BTS film. It looks good and takes good use of Australian vistas and Sydney & HK cityscapes. It could have used some tightening, but I really enjoyed the fights and chases which offer an enjoyable mix of Ozploitation stunts and HK martial arts skills. Wang Yu is good, Lazenby is solid and seems to be doing at least some of his own moves. Small parts for Sammo Hung and Aussie stunt legend Grant Page. Action set pieces hold their own against Bond films of the era.
