Missing the humour of the first one and the third act feels rushed. For chop socky this is still good, but not as good as the first one

Having actually kinda liked the first one, despite its flaws, this is a disappointment. I wasn't expecting greatness but all I got was boring fights, terrible acting and an uninspired plot. I like Rza, and enjoy the premise, but this is mostly terrible.

I liked the first one more than most but can admit this one is truly not very good. It's cheaply made in almost all respects. A few actors are ok, but most are bad and the script makes no actual sense. The end has a few ridiculous scenes that made me laugh but overall this is incredibly forgettable.

Yeah, it's a basic cash-in sequel of The Man with the Iron Fists (2012) which had names such as Russell Crowe & Lucy Liu. The sequel only keeps RZA in a fairly generic 'Shaolin' environment. With that said, it's perfectly watchable as long as one don't expect anything great. RZA's tracks keeps the mood grooving and the production is polished enough to not feel too cheap. Wasn't a necessary follow-up, but there are plenty of worse movies out there, though that's not reassuring.

I rate this the same as the first film. I found the story, acting and effects about as good or should I say as bad as the first film. The dialogue was really really bad and the fight scenes were laughable at best. This is a very generic martial arts film where most of the actors can't actually do martial arts. The Rza is absent for half the film since he's a bad actor and worse fighter. At lease he has less speaking lines in this which was the biggest plus.

Not deathly boring or anything, but doesn't really rise far above the bare minimum of what you're expect from a straight-to-DVD kung fu flick these days.
