Perfectly charming in 15 minute bites (I particularly like the wonderfully designed backgrounds) but the effect of these featurettes when strung together one after another is distinctly less than the sum of the parts.

I love Winnie the Pooh, even if I don't like Disney's handling of the character. I want to take the basic plot concepts of the stories and turn them into a series of reimagined gangster movies, where Bear the huge mob enforcer (real name Winnie being an embarrassment to him) teams with a Steve Buscemi-esque sidekick to go on missions for Don Robin. Tigger would be the fast talking black guy, Eeyore is a no nonsense cleaner, Rabbit is a fastidious hitman, etc.

Like its titular bear, it's full of fluff and charm, from the fun characters (absent-minded and chatty Owl is a-wait for it-hoot) to the endearing animation and storytelling that often mix together in creative ways (see the 4th-wall breaking narrator and page references). The miniature tales are cute and funny and of little substance. That said, the touching final chapter, taken in the context of the film's intentional framing of the stories as fictional, offers something interesting to ponder.

Perhaps the most faithful of Disney's literary adaptations, this cute, charming collection of episodes captures the spirit of A.A. Milne's classic stories.

The meta-fiction elements are kind of interesting. The lack of cohesion stemming from how it was made detracts from its feature length format, though.

pretty cynical and mean-spirited for a kids family, but I like that, it's good for the kids, gives them the smarts. This is probably nostalgia talking, but I like it -- sometimes even anthropological animals hate each other. Not really much a film, more a series of three shorts, but ehh.

Pooh is the best mentally deficient character ever. He's simple minded and honey obsessed and entertaining to watch. The other characters are more hit and miss as too much of them gets annoying but it's a charming little set of stories tied together very well with the narrator. Not enough Eeyore though.

The many adventures of Winnie The Pooh is a collection of charming animated short films centered around the titular bear. Taken as separates they are all very charming, however the experience falls apart slightly when you try and watch the whole film as one. A big shame but the film is still very enjoyable, just more enjoyable in 3 bite size chunks.

Very charming, but despite how much nostalgia I feel for this there's so little to keep me interested..my mind was wandering a lot by the end.

How can you not be at least a little nostalgic for Winnie the Pooh after a certain age? There's not exactly a reason for this to be its own film, but dammit, it's classic Pooh bear.

I enjoyed all three of the Winnie-the-Pooh shorts so seeing them done as a feature film was great. Yes it's basically a re-release but that doesn't matter at all, it's simply more Winnie-the-Pooh at once, and that's fine with me.

My critical senses are clouded with nostalgia here, but who wouldn't love to return to a time when you unquestioningly loved Winnie the Pooh, regardless of being too young to pinpoint its charms? It's a sad soul that can't appreciate original Pooh.

(2014-15 Disneython #16:) In absolutely no way did I find this to be poorly-made or anything like that. But, of the sixteen films so far in my Disneython, this is the first one that didn't really feel like a "for the whole family" or "for all ages" entertainment. This is a movie specifically and exclusively for very, very small children. As such, I was bored through most of it, while never finding it bad or anything.

I’ve never really liked Disney’s interpretation of Pooh... not that it keeps me up at night! This is sweet and nicely animated, but does nothing for me. My kids love it.

Walt Disney'in çocuklarının oyuncaklarından yaptığı animasyon. Sevimli ayı Winnie ve arkadaşları arasında geçen macera, karakterlerin şaşkın halleriyle seyirciyi izletiyor. Komik anlarında olduğu film, karakterin aşırı sinir bozukluklarıyla göze batmıştı. Tükenmişlik sendromundan hiperaktiviteye, Paranoyadan alzheimer'a kadar herşey anlatılmış. Sıkılmadan keyifli vakit geçirilir. Filmin sonunda, ölene kadar kankayız. Zıpla zıpla zıpla zıplamayan tavşan.

Made up of three classic Winnie the Pooh theatrical shorts plus a few minutes of added footage, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh is a timeless, charming and endlessly entertaining classic in its own right that the entire family can enjoy. A true masterpiece and a MUST-SEE.

This is a compilation of the previous Winnie the Pooh shorts, which I've also ranked very low. I just hate Winnie the Pooh.

This movie, largely compiled out of a series of Winnie the Pooh shorts Disney had made over the preceding decade, really highlights how sublime their adaptation of A.A, Milne's work was and how suited this work was for Disney's goal of trying to streamline their animation without producing lower quality work. The storybook style of the animation is sketchier than classic Disney animation, but still beautiful and compelling.

The "Pooh Sticks" stuff is lame and doesn't belong compared to the other three short films that make up this charming anthology.

Endlessly charming, iconic, and nostalgic, "The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh" manages to capitalize on two Disney practices frowned upon in retrospect: xerographic animation and a narrative compiled from different smaller films.
