Exactly what you should expect from a direct-to-video action flick. Completely devoid of real humans with real emotions, you still get a few decent explosive action moments.

Starts off with an action scene, then we get a 20 minute intermission while we wait for the action to restart. Piss poor effort

All The Marine 2 is going to do will leave you wondering why you spent your 90+ minutes watching it. Sure, it's got some explosions and gunfights, but being a low budget action film, a lot of cheating occurs and this type of thing has been done way better elsewhere. If you really want to watch this, you better be a fan of Ted DiBiase, Jr., because him going through a bunch of action scenes will be enjoyable for you, and largely you alone. It's not a poorly made film, but it's not fun to watch.

I did not care at all about anything that happened.

The Marine 2 is actually just a tad bit better than its predecessor...or at least not as awful. Ted Dibiase (the son, not the original Million Dollar Man) has less charisma than John Cena, but the writing in this film isn't trying as hard to be funny so it actually isn't as much of a problem. I think its main flaw for me is that everyone in this film seems stupid - Dibiase and crew fail time and time again in trying to save his wife and the other hostages, and the villains keep letting him.

Ted DiBiase Jr. is no John Cena. He's not even a Ted DiBiase Sr.

The Marine 2 is everything you can expect from a direct to DVD action film. The first film starred John Cena and was poor and forgettable, and this pointless sequel is no better. I'm not a fan of wrestling or wrestlers going into acting. I can live with Dwayne Johnson & Steve Austin, but who the hell is Ted DiBiase? He has zero screen presence and looks completely out of place. And I was surprised to see Michael Rooker involved. This awful action film is definitely one to avoid.
