The Master of Ballantrae

Sorry to anyone watching this based on my rating. But I liked it.

flynn is back with a sword in hand, and even this late in his career he hadn't lost it. this is a really good adventure movie, but flynn's failing health is completely visible and he's lost a bit of his presence because of that. this is not the first flynn movie i'd tell someone to watch, but it's a surprisingly good one.

Decent adventure yarn. The best thing here is the supporting cast of colourful characters - Roger Livesey as a loveable Irish rogue and Jacques Berthier as a French dandy are among the highlights. The accents are hilarious and the plot is pretty thin, but it's fun enough for a one-time watch.
