The Mindscape of Alan Moore

Interesting, if a bit messy portrait of the brilliant writer.

If you are a fan of any of Moore's works, it's definitely worth checking out this documentary which is really just Alan Moore speaking his mind for 80 minutes with either images of his work or psychadelic stuff going on in the background. His appearance is off-putting, but the philosophical ideas he strings together with such eloquence are really fascinating to listen to.

An interesting (if somewhat pretentious) film that gives the viewer a clearer picture of the man widely considered to be one of the greatest writers in modern comics. The presentation choices both visually and musically fit the film and its subject rather well.

Pretty much only worth seeing of you really dig Moore's work. There's a lot of philosophical gobbledygook permeating the documentary.

He's an interesting guy, loved the fiction vs lies vs magic stuff.

An (at best) mediocre documentary, saved by its innately fascinating main subject: Mr. Moore.

He is an interesting character but this documentary (if you can call it a documentary) is very poorly done, bad interviews, bad footage and no point, this movie is more like a fan film.
