The Miracle Maker

Really good animation and really good overall.

A faithful and reverent retelling of the Gospel accounts, employing traditional 2D and stop-motion animation, which along with the prominent place given to Jairus's daughter, gives the film a more childlike feel. That said, the filmmakers don't shy away from the darkness of the story, particularly in the portrayal of Mary Magdalene as demon possessed. This is an accessible Jesus movie for elementary-school aged kids, one that helps to dramatize events often only heard from a book.
