Claire Danes is wonderfully cute, and she as well as the rest of the pretty talented cast can do nothing with this shambling mess. I think the plan fell apart when they had 30 year olds try and infiltrate the "ultra-hip" L.A. club scene.

Utterly baffling, confused movie. Is it a light comedy? A hard-R gritty reboot? Is it set in the actual 90s or in the 90s trying to be the 70s? What are Hanson doing in this movie? Why did Giovanni Ribisi record all his lines with a handful of cookies in his mouth?

more like a terrible tv show pilot than a feature film. more appropriately, it's like an episode of a tv show stretched out for 40 minutes too long to make it into a pilot. in any case, it's terrible and awful and curiosity got the best of me but i really should have known better than to watch this
