Quite watchable, despite the silly, implausible plot and the terrible dialogue writing...what cowboy says "I appreciate your intentions anyway"? And Stanwyck was asked to utter the immortal line "I'm here in reference to a deceased person." And the musical score is lousy--it all feels inappropriate to the moment, especially the jaunty stuff near the beginning. Stanwyck is essentially wasted. William Ching, with his competence and good looks, should have had a much bigger career than he did.

Amazing star power for such a mediocre movie. It would have been better if they continued on the original plot line. The film was disjointed with the first story discontinued without explanation.
