The Mother of Invention

Gently amusing rather than hysterically funny. It's a low-budget indie comedy in the vein of Napoleon Dynamite where we are asked to sympathise with the weird loser who we hope makes it in the end. Oddly enough the whole thing is available online through Hulu since it languished for years without a proper release after making a bit of a hit in some film festival or other. The only way I heard of this is through a Slashfilmcast recommendation.
