A film filled with unexpected and unrelenting anxieties, and emotions that are very simple to see. Most characters were love-'em-or-hate-'em, and the story was thought-provoking

An odd little drama that didn't leave much of an impression when I saw it a few years ago. After a recent partial re-watch it seems better than I remember...

This movie is a lot funnier now that Daniel Craig is the new Bond. Otherwise it's an interesting idea for a movie that doesn't really develop into much

Top badass moment? None really. They were all such a flawed lot that none of them deserve this accolade. No matter what you do, being a tool means you can never be badass. (A nice mixing of US and British slang there, even if I do say so myself). 0 cats and 0 decapitations.

"Michell's aesthetic is cold, impersonal and self-conscious in the same way that Kureishi's script is raw, honest and unpretentious." - Ed Gonzalez

Stellar performance by Anne Reid. One of those very slow meaningful scripts that can mean a lot if it touches a raw nerve from your own experience. Anne Reid being struck was that moment of a universal truth.
