Too long, too stupid, too predictable and too mean spirited. A couple of moments are ok, I guess.

I'm not really sure why but at least 80% of the jokes and pratfalls worked.

Laurel & Hardy's best short film; a brilliantly-sustained 30-minute comic set piece. It wouldn't have worked if it were longer or shorter.

By any standard one of the great comdey films of all time, long or short. Just perfect.

Didn't really do much for me, but I must admit I found it refreshing to see some Equal Oppurnity in the slapstick victimization. The titular pair are not afraid of smacking a dame.

Amusing, but this sort of thing is just too corny by today's standards.

Laurel and Hardy have a delivery service and they have to deliver a piano to a house that's at the top of a very long and steep stairway. That's it ... they pretty much spend half an hour trying to deliver the piano. It's fucking hilarious. There's some of the most inventive physical comedy I've ever seen here. "And not only that, he kicked me." "He kicked you?" "Yes, officer, right in the middle of my daily duty."

A classic that stands up well against any comedy of any era.

Perhaps the best Laurel & Hardy movie of all time - better than all the feature length films I've seen with them.

Painfully unfunny. The only redeeming bit was the dancing. Also Hardy looks like Andy Richter.
