The Noah

I really like how this film begins and ends, but much of what's in the middle is just too goddamn insane for me to want to watch or listen to.

High concept arthouse with an intriguing conceit. It works quite well until Bourla and Heffner run out of ideas and default to a literal 40 minutes of Strauss walking around while snippets of historic newsreels scream at you in foreign languages. 40 minutes! Otherwise a fairly interesting little ditty that feels like a strange mix of The Man from Earth and Castaway.
