The October Man

Good whodunit with John Mills as the sympathetic suspect.

Very good.

Well acted and fairly gripping crime mystery. Although dated it plays against a background of social realism and mental illness - which almost seems ahead of its time.

A gentle murder case with a psychological touch. Very British and with trauma that was felt. I found it quite likable even if the pacing did feel a little on the slow side at times. But that's part of the charms of British crime productions. John Mills carried himself well, and Edward Chapman was the perfect cold killer.
