Visually a beaut of a silent film! Artistically it's technically impressive. The story is sadly uneven. Has moments of a dark heart, but other times it's simply plain and ordinary, and it doesn't blend well. Regardless it might be interesting for silent film fans to give this a chance, if only for the way Martin Fric shows off with his gritty imagery.
