a pair of boobs (upton), a bipolar muppet (mann) and a transgender mummy (diaz) set out on an epic quest to serve every cliché in existence, justifiably pranking (in that exclusively unfunny female way), playing and poisoning the evil man who dared cheating on their classy asses. you might think "well, that sounds rather dull and uninspired", and you're absolutely right! it's an abomination, and i just watched it, so you do not need to. ever. do not let my sacrifice be in vain! now go! uurghh...

A film about wealthy and wretched NY women with nasally whiny voices plotting to destroy a cheating Jaime Lannister. It's essentially a vehicle for quasi-feminist male bashing with zero introspection or personal accountability. Nicki Minaj's enormous baboon ass almost looks like a CGI effect. If you're coerced into watching this I highly recommend going into deep state meditation to avoid having your ears and eyes filled with shit. Better yet just avoid this at all costs.

A bizarre, irrational, sick and sadistic movie that glorifies girl power all because Jamie Lannister likes to get his fuck on? I honestly feel bad for Melissa Stack and anyone that comes into contact with her because she devoted possibly a year of her life to write this guy bashing neo-feminist garbage (hint: get over it, cunt). The irony of it is that she wanted to vilify men so bad but ended up making the women look worse due to the most shallow and predictable writing I've seen in years.

I honestly think this genre gets too much hate. I tend to like the more cheesy female perspective comedies rather than those male centric comedies where a bunch of unfunny guys improvises something lame after smoking a couple of joints. This had some new funny ideas and Leslie Mann was great.

Two tortuous hours of hateful people acting like psychopaths. Gawd, this is rough. One second, Cameron and Leslie will be pratfalling and flailing around in a bunch of foilage, and a minute later, the movie'll be getting all serious and trying to make a moony, bitter point about how all men are scum and all relationships are inherently toxic. Plus there's about 75% too much plot. A pretty big waste of time, all told.

This is a great movie that showcases the acting skills of its stars, namely Diaz and Mann, who perform to their full potential, but the true gem and the highlight of the moive is Upton, who proves that she is not just boobs and ass. In short, if you laughed wacthing this, you haven't seen a comedy before, and if you cried watching this, then you don't know what love is.

I saw this film because my wife thought it may be amusing. Other than one scene in which the youngest of these three woman runs on the beach in a bikini, it is not. Other than that bay watch soft porn moment there is no reason to see this film.

Been awhile since I saw a real Tier 1 bottom-feeder. Oh god, the poster. It's the Debbie Downer "woh-woh" noise made visual. I will lead off with an unpopular opinion...I normally enjoy Mann. Granted, she only crops up in her husband's movies. Just a coincidence, I was certain. Errr, maybe not. Maybe Apatow just knows how to hide her limitations, like a manager who platoons his rightfielder 'cause he can't hit lefties. Diaz's "star power" is running on fumes. Upton adds zilch. An unfunny slog.

Not the tiniest bit funny. Leslie Mann telling Cameron Diaz how jealous she is of her for not having any fat rolls? Ummm.. yeah, right. So annoying. All about the way these women behave is just annoying...

Not a single person who worked on this movie comes out of it looking good. It's silly, useless, and offensive to literally everyone, including dogs. It's possible this was intended as a female-empowerment flick but the thought of that is almost as laughable as the script. It does get some points, however, for being one of the best drinking game movies in recent memory.

Cameron Diaz and Leslie Mann are great in it. Some funny scenes, but predictable, and probably a better movie for those who have been cheated on. For others, just pass.

Actually I have to say that Leslie Mann was a fine on her part. Cameron I was never interested. Upton always pleases the eye though her acting career is yet nothing special. The story was usual, but Leslie made comic parts enjoyable.

I actually found several parts to be funny, but the movie feels unforgivably long for being less than 2 hours. It seemed determined to add more plot when it should have been cutting back. A revenge comedy, a female bonding movie, or a story of personal growth all could have worked, but the combination really didn't. It also didn't help that the characters felt deliberately unlikable; possibly a side effect of a quirky personality movie mixed with a revenge tale where we need to be on their side.

The first half is a complete mess with every character coming across really annoying. In the second half there are many enjoyable prank moments involving the group and the antagonist which helps you forget the painful beginning of the movie! Everything is predicatable but it is watchable and a perfect date movie.

Assumed it was garbage. I first had to identify what I thought this movie was TRYING to be. I guess it was trying to be a laugh-heavy rom-com with a take on infidelity, something of a sister-sister tale with the girls bonding over their experience. Verdict? I kept waiting for this comedy to be funny. Mann is funny in parts but REAL annoying in others. Diaz still rocks sexy. Upton can't act... shocking. Fuck Nicki Minaj. The plot is insulting and the ending is formulaic. So... garbage! Nailed it.

The Other Woman is not a good film. There are a few laughs to be had, but overall the film's predictablity and reliance on slapstick relegate it to Hollywood's ever-growing pile of forgettable fluff. Criticism aside, the plot isn't actually too bad, but lacks the charm needed to be pulled off. The sole bright spark in this film however is Mann, who's over-the-top exuberance makes the experience tolerable.

The casting is adorable and on point. The dialogue & characters are too obvious, tedious & super mainstream. As you can see by the trailer, the word "weird" is used numerous times to emphasize the situation being mind-blowingly bizarre to them. Come on! It's not really *that* bizarre; mostly a comment on how tepidly these women have lived that unconventional female friendships are all it takes to utterly blow their minds. Horrific soundtrack, also. But everyone is hot. So there's that.

When Lydia tells Carly that dating married men seems perfect for her, Carly rejects the idea not because it's wrong, but because she's too old for that sort of thing. When Kate discovers Mark's cheating ways, the movie gives her a choice between living with it and leaving--a choice, again, not between right and wrong, but about how much deception she can live with. In that postscript, two characters "fall in love" and get preggers. (pluggedin.com)

Watching this as a date night with the GF, and pretty much in just that context, this ain't too bad. I think the women do have a nice sense of camaraderie to them, and I don't feel the clear female empowerment to be distracting, as that's kind of it's market, and it's not really cringy to any degree honestly. It's not overly funny, but again in a specific context, I found a few parts genuinely funny. This could've been a lot worse, for a stay-in-night/date, I didn't mind this.

I liked the fellowship of the women but hated how caricatured Coster-Waldau's character was. :( Nikolaj has natural charm and he's a fantastic dramatic actor (as per GoT). He did great as the buffoonish jerk husband but I feel he's too sweet for the role. Or at least the diarrhea humor needed to be toned down. Probably not his proudest work. Diaz felt done with the movie. Mann is a national treasure and was a beacon of positive light next to Diaz's unenthusiastic performance.

The main plot is quite crazy. I had many contradictory moments about this movie - e.g. I loved seeing Nicki Minaj in a movie, but I really didn't enjoy Kate Upton there. Leslie Mann was creepy and oddly funny :-) Actually, I liked the most the part about Cameron Diaz and Taylor Kinney :)

Haha look the dog CGI-pooped on the floor that's hilarious. Two funny scenes: Coster-Waldau's estrogen mannerisms and Leslie Mann stretching in a bush. The rest is unfunny garbage which goes on for about twice as long as it should. Some of the "pranks" concocted by the trio are more mean-spirited than anything they were subjected to, so it's hard to find someone to root for here.

I would be easy to find faults with the plot, but I got quite a few great laughs while watching it. Leslie Mann was both annoying and marvelous. Cameron Diaz was acceptable, and Kate Upton was gorgeous as always but too ditsy. Nice but brief appearances from Don Johnson and Taylor Kinney. Nikolaj Coster-Waldau played an arrogant womanizer fairly well until the end when he got spastic. Several very awkward moments were enjoyable. Pretty far fetched, but clever and entertaining anyway.

Funny, but... :/ The movie does seem unsure, whether it wants to be serious ("Stop reading my diary, you retard, that's personal!" kind of serious) or Police Academy. Now, blending the two...that would have been something. Instead this is just how I assume Clueless haters see Clueless. :) I mean, I actually liked the movie and I didn't mind the uninspired genre-switching. Until the "showdown" ruined everything. Pretty much. :(
