The Penitent Man

Miserable, crappy, wooden trash. There are a number of positive reviews out there on IMDB, but don't believe them. This is a Sci-Fi movie written for pure dialog and a brief couple scenes of people doing anything except sitting and talking. Boasting Henriksen might lead you to believe that there's at least one good actor here, but even Lance himself comes off as contrived, unbelievable and dull. The talk of time travel and the story here is read to us like a poorly grasped, superficial synopsis.

Interesting premise. If the rest of the cast was as good as Lance Henriksen, I would have ranked it higher.
