Jeff, a young delinquent, is enrolled by his father in a kenpo school, in the hopes of teaching the boy some self-discipline. Years later, Jeff's mentor, Kim, is being threatened by one of the Korean mafia families. Jeff tries to help his old friend, but is too late to prevent Kim's death at the hands of an unknown hitman. Vowing revenge, Jeff takes on all of the families, using his martial arts skills to find the man who killed his friend. (imdb)

It is so bad and yet so entertaining. An 80s martial arts flick from 91 that has everything it needs and doesn't need. "A strange deal."

Producer/director Mark DiSalle follows-up his directorial debut, "Kickboxer"(1989) with another martial-arts/action movie. However instead of Jean-Claude Van Damme, Jeff Speakman is the titular "Perfect Weapon", and that's okay. Although like the movie, Speakman is far from perfect, but surprisingly is kind of good. Despite the drama in the movie lacking a bit due to a lot of the sub-par acting, the martial-arts/action is pretty great throughout. Worth the watch for fans of movies of its' kind.
