My only objection is that it wasn't longer and didn't go beyond Cars. Terrific documentary for the best animation studio today!

For it's running time it was light on information, very high in back-slappery though.

Fascinating story overall, but a little too much time spent on internal politics that lost my attention a couple of times.

It wasn't the best documentary I've seen, and I knew quite a lot of it already, but it was nice and interesting and really makes you appreciate the work that goes into these films and how much passion the people have for their projects.

Very well made and in depth documentary shows how talented these people are, and how much fun they have doing what they do.

A strong documentary, and one that makes you simultaneously think, "Man, I want to do that!" and "Man, I really need to watch all those movies again!"

If you love Pixar and their films (and what person with a soul doesn't?) then this is an entertaining look at the start of the company and the passion they put into each of their projects.

An all around fun documentary about one of the biggest successes of the film industry. The creation of a genre, and some of the best animated movies of all time. Watching this in 2011 it sucks that this was made 4 years ago and didn't cover any of the newer Pixar films. I always enjoy documentaries about movies, as that is one of my favourite subjects.

What I love most about Pixar is that (at least until Cars 2), it was a reminder that commercial success doesn't require compromising artistic integrity. This documentary does a fantastic job of providing insight into the business model and the individual personalities that came together to make Pixar an artistic and commercial powerhouse.

Really interesting documentary. These are really dedicated and committed people at Pixar. Actually, I was rather surprised what a big role Steve Jobs played in the development of this studio. I always thought he was "only" an investor. But then...it's Steve Jobs...

Excellent documentary about Pixar. Great for anyone who loves film, film-making and animation. Pixar can do no wrong. Even a documentary about them is excellent.

The movie is true to its title. It is barebones account of how Pixar became what it is today and how it kept on churning out one hit after the other. The movie also nicely shows the relationship between Pixar and Disney which hasn't always been that great...

Wonderfull to see how these extremely talented people transformed the small business of 3D babysteps into a hit after hit making full feature length animation studio. The documentary itself isn't the best, but the people featuring in it are!

Lots of great insight into the development of CGI and footage from early experiments in the medium. Is a bit self-congratulatory but not nearly as much as it could have been.
