Rightwing plot to get the US into the war in Europe, driven by the gray shirts. The story needs some work, but it was fun to watch. It's amazing how much of this film still applies to today's politics.

Here's a Paramount picture they've hidden away. A story about kidnapping the US President! Well, they couldn't make a film about politics popular with the movie goers, even with the forced crime stuff and tensions of war. And quite frankly it get kind of boring and disjointed. However it does give a interesting perspective about the political rumblings that was going on in the 1930s, and not many movies from the time dared to touch that like this one did.
