Okay, I get that I'm not the target audience for this kind of thing. Even so... holy crap. What a lazy, idiotic, unfunny movie. Anne Hathaway is even more obnoxious than last time, and Julie Andrews looks bored out of her mind. Little girls deserve better movies than this.

Still cute, and with delightful messages. But, pretty predictable, and there were a few things that didn't seem to be quite in character for some of the returning people.

What a terrible sequel. It loses all the charm and real worldness of the original and plays out like a young girls empowerment Disney channel TV movie. The whole thing is just so dumbed down and unfunny, filled with shameless plugs for Disney stars and kills most of the depth that any of the characters from the first film had.

It's definitely inferior to the original, and while it makes an admirable effort at the whole "girl power" message, it suffers greatly. They probably shouldn't have tried to make a sequel that had nothing to do with the original books.
