The Prodigy

It feels like they stopped pre-production right after having finished a one-sheet with plot points. I don't think there's a scene that lasts more than 2 minutes, with no place for the characters to react to the events unfolding;, they have to accept it immediately. The one good scare is in the trailer.

Not bad pretty wild storyline I didn't much care for the ending though

The prodigy was always going to be an interesting film, with a premise as absurd as it had. I actually though it was kind of fun, and most of the film is done in a shockingly professional manner. There's a great bit of sense, scares, and interesting plot missing, but i don't know, I think there's still something to like.

It's a ludicrous premise, but the execution has a wonderful horror-movie feel to it. I could have given it more respect if the casting of the adult murderer weren't clearly only for jump scare purposes. They should have leaned more on Jackson Robert Scott, who did an incredible job for a child actor.

The premise is embarrassingly pathetic.

Not bad. Not great.

One of the best modern horror endings. Just a relentlessly grim film with a pretty decent atmosphere. Also, my fav part of any family being tormented in a horror film is the mom looking all haggard in a pair of sunglasses going to ask a specialist for help

I was underwhelmed here. The acting was solid, but I think the story stayed a little flat when it could've livened things up a bit. Decent attempt at a very solid idea, but ultimately comes out a bit stale.

I give this one extra points for going in a direction I didn't see coming. Solid and intense horror/thriller!

Reenkarnasyon, seri katil, çocuk, ebeveyn, anne baba, aile (Bir seri katilin ruhu bir çocuğun içinde doğsa ne olur? Film buna cevap arıyor. Baba olarak izleyince dramatik bir yönü de var. Üzdü biraz. Çocuk iyi oynamış.)

Did its job in being super freaky. Did Georgie really say those things? Yikes! It really didn't need the jump-scares - this isn't Halloween or Friday the 13th. The psychological thriller parts were good.

Basically Brightburn but without Superman juice.

As far as creepy kid movies go, this one takes the cake. They really pushed the bar in regards to the direction they took, especially with the things they made the kid say and do. I've never seen anything like it. That being said, this isn't an unheard of concept. We've seen it before, and we'll see it again. Heck...I'm PRETTY sure this was Child's Play - only this Pinocchio was a real boy...

A couple of good shots and few terrible ones. That's always something.

Finally, once again a decent horror.
