The Quest

A perhaps unfairly-forgotten '80s kids' movie with mystery, mysticism, and good ol' Australian weirdness.

It's hard for kids these days to relate to this kind of thing, but there was once a time when kids played outside, we explored, got up to mischief, we had to use our imagination to have fun. "The Quest" is a little known movie about the time that kids could go on epic adventures using only bicycles and sticks. Added nostalgia points for that.

One of those odd kids movies that everyone in the 80s seems to have seen but nobody remembers much about it, only that they'd seen it.

Strange kids film.

I was really interested to see another Henry Thomas role, as a child. Though he was at awkward age in this one, and it's a pretty strange movie but entertaining enough.
