The Rage: Carrie 2

I believe that in a better world we could remake Carrie and it would be fine, but of course, that isn't the world that we live in. Why is Hello Mary Lou: Prom Night II so good while this is so tedious? Somebody's glasses break into their eyes which is fun. Jason London shows up at the end and accepts the mayhem like a champ. No fear, no questions, just stepping over dead bodies and working his way to a witch.

The lead school bully has grey in his beard and probably has a son in the same grade. The 1999 aesthetic was god awful, just a sea of giant clothes and frosted tips and god awful music - imagine being killed to ska. Clicking around IMDB and this trivia blurb: “Loosely based on a real-life 1993 incident in which a group of high school jocks, the Spur Posse, were involved in a sex scandal.” is a nightmare. Can you imagine adding telekinetic bullshit to the Bill Cosby sex sca-BACK OFF ITS M

Ugh this movie reminded me of how many A-holes high schools are filled with I did like her revenge on the bullies But the ending seemed kinda silly

None of this is scary, none of it works as social commentary, there's no potential to have an emotional involvement with anyone in the film, and it's all essentially a worthless outing. It's not bad, per se, and if all you want is a C-grade knockoff of Carrie, then you're not going to have a terrible time. But if you want a worthy sequel to a horror classic, or even just a good movie, you'll be disappointed. The Rage: Carrie 2 can pass the time, but that's about it.

More a remake than a sequel. Either way it was terrible.

bad movie

Hey, it's the first movie again! Down to the very last plot element! But much, much worse. A few of the novelty kills at the end are amusing, but you have to sit through one of the most hellish first hour and a halfs in cinematic history to get there.

The only high point is the oldest kid from Home Improvement getting castrated with a harpoon gun. Other than that, this is an exercise in staving off ADD.

C2, on top of obviously being a sequel that shouldn't exist, has artless direction and an Average Joe cast. Some scenes, especially early on, made it seem like it was right on track to Ireedemably Terribleville. Yet it was better than I'd expected. There's barely any suspense or horror -- the tie-in with Carrie feels tacked-on -- but the teen drama's totally passable; the two kinda meh leads complemented each other better than they had any right to. Good dog, too. 2nd film of 2018.

Pretty decent attempt at a tough movie to make a sequel of. Some of the effects and deaths are done quite well. The acting is just ok and the script is also ok. Good music helps to keep the feel of the flick moving well.

This one it is the most teen oriented of all versions that I have seen. It is not a bad thing I like Teen Horror but it is not as good as the others.

Watched it many years ago, don't remember much besides the fact that it was mediocre.

The exact same plot (EXACT SAME) as the first Carrie, but replace actors like Sissy Spacek and John Travolta with Jason London and Zachery Ty Bryan. Yeah, it's pretty damn bad.

Teased shy girl gets revenge again. Poor sequel.

A highly undderated movie. Has way too much sex referneces but underneath it all, its actually pretty good.

A sequel for Carrie would be nice, but this is just an insult. The story is very bad, just trying to be a modern version of the first, but not enough or close to the charm and the darkness of the classic.

A bad sequel.

Really just an enjoyable high school pic with a big kill at the end, which doesn't reallly serve up enough gore to be a great horror picture.
