The Reckoning

I figured that between the cast and the setting, this was a sure winner. ...I don't know if I didn't get it, or if there just wasn't anything there to get. Nor did anything incredibly cool happen. I would pretty much pay to watch Dafoe eat cereal, so I'm not complaining. This just didn't turn out to be as thought-provoking or as medievally awesome as I expected.

Not particularly memorable. Dafoe is awesome, as usual.

Pretty good.

I loved this crap. Great cast full of random cameos and rubbish accents. Willem Dafoe does handstands. Young Tom Hardy looks lovely in drag. Paul Bettany plays a priest not for the last time. It's total bunk but it delighted me.

Excellent premise and well executed by a stellar cast.
