The Room Nearby

As a person in his mid-twenties who feels directionless and miserable, a lot of this film hit really close to home. It very successfully portrays the overwhelming pressure from society to chase success with unshakable vigour and the self-loathing that can come from feeling like you don't deserve to complain about that pressure. It's a slow burn of a film, with little conflict not generated by the characters' own insecurities. I wish I hadn't watched this while feeling depressed.
