I like this a lot. Interesting to see Silent film star, Clara Bow in a Talkie. However, I don't like seeing my Jeanie in a villainous type role- it doesn't suit her. Still, worth seeing for fans of the two actresses.

A sound remake of Love 'Em and Leave 'Em (1926) which starred Evelyn Brent & Louise Brooks. Here it's the 'It' girl Clara Bow up front with Jean Arthur. And it's not very good. Bow is in her chubby phase and it's an very early talkie so people hadn't figured out yet how to make a interesting talking movie yet. So it's just a curiosity to see the old silent stars talk a lot of nothing. Bow was okay and the life of the movie, but neither her or anyone else was natural in front of the mic yet.
