Daffy shoots himself in the head at the end, and his last line is delivered with a smoking hole in his cranium. I only mention that because it's been edited in its current version. Hell, I laughed as a kid.

I wish there were more cartoons that included most of the Looney Tunes cast.

Funny, and that ending is completely out of left field.

The quality of the animation was less than it was before. The story's got it's highlights, but as a plot it did not impress that much.

Daffy pitches a script to Jack Warner for a swashbuckler. It's a decent parody of the genre with Porky, Sylvester and Elmer Fudd showing up, but there are better examples of this in the Looney Tunes canon.

I haven't read the source material, but this is still one hell of a Dumas parody.
