As glossy a Hollywood story of the first female typist in Chicago gets. A dolled-up collage, almost dream-like, setting the stage for mostly songs with Dick Haymes and over-the-top charms. Features a surprisingly conservative looking Betty Grable, which gets the blame for the film not doing better at the box office. No Grable legs = Fewer paying costumers. But it's a beautiful looking piece for those wanting a mindless diversion.
