3rd of a trilogy of "Stranger" spag westerns (other 2 unseen as I type), MAY exist as an English dub only wiith Japanese speech skipped- dub very well done, normally dislike. "66" where 66 means a good casual watch, typical faux western but better than most, faux Morriconni soundtrack is neat, silly tale but OK. some nice jokes... the dub has lyo instead of (Japnanese currency at the time) ryo, harping perhaps on the renowned Japanese inability to pronounce the English "r"? A pleasent surprise.

Can't believe i didn't know of any samurai spaghetti westerns before this. Contains a very familiar plotline, but it has cool action and Anthony competently delivers a unique wry humor. I loved that the language barrier remained for the whole movie and the stranger had to make do as all these men shouted in japanese at him.

Concept is great; spaghetti western meets samurai film. Too bad that the film is deeply flawed. It was re-cut and a voice over added, but it doesn't explain the main issue, which is that Anthony's charisma is not strong enough to carry the multiple dialogue free /Japanese scenes. They also don't utilize the setting or have the gun vs sword duels you'd expect apart from some, like the bathhouse fight. Instead we get too many scenes of Stranger roaming around dark rooms and rainy back alleys.
