Twenty years after his triumphs as a freshman on the football field, Harold is a mild-mannered clerk who dreams about marrying the girl at the desk down the aisle. Strained humor. You'll find little of the comic genius of either Lloyd or Sturges here.

T.S.O.H.D is a loose sequel to The Freshman, Lloyd's biggest hit. In its own curious way, it functions as a reflection on Lloyd's own career, from early triumph to premature failure. It begins with footage from the finale of The Freshman, which was probably a bad move because its manic comic energy merely highlights the flatness of Sturge's direction and the paucity of laughs thereafter. Its final act of desperation--i.e another variation on Lloyd hanging from a tall building--seals its fate
