The Singing Vagabond

An early Gene Autry western for the newly formed Republic Pictures with songs coming awkwardly left and right. But this was plenty fun and much better then 95% of the westerns made during the 1930-34 period which was a terrible time for the western genre. They still got a long way to go, but I can sense 1935 is the first turning point in getting westerns generally accepted again and not just something poverty row companies made because they are cheap to produce.
