The Song of Names

Yes, the subject of the Holocaust has perhaps overdone in film; but this is a totally original and emotive take, focusing on the reality instead of the grizzly statistics and the fascinating evil which engendered it. This is the most under-the-radar films of quality I think has ever been distributed. Absolutely no promotion other than being in the theater listing. No details on IMDb and only a very short synopsis.

Its not that the movie is bad, it's just very bland. It never engaged me and the whole personal loss/journey of self discovery felt very underwhelming. It could just have well been a story about any kind of loss not in the context of the holocaust. I doubt I'll remember this movie in a week.
