Lee Tracy as a semi-crooked lawyer trapped in his own web when one of his questionable clients courts his innocent young daughter. Tracy in the life in this. This is the type of role he could do in his sleep and that more then good enough to make this enjoyable. However the closing courtroom speech might be one of his least inspired. I understand he was supposed to be emotionally drained, but this such a simple written address it felt wrong for one of the most talkative performers out there.
