The Submarine Kid

This movie started off very bland after an intriguing opening with the Submarine Kid story. Bland cliches, bland characters, bland friends, bland gf, bland partying. Emilie de Ravin's character shows up but then she is quickly explained away. Overused imagery. The main character then got very unrelatable. He really should get some serious help. Parents and uncle explaining that actions have consequences, except they really don't since they're covering for him. Fav scene: overnight woodcarving.
