A fairly straight forward and standard '30s western. Most of the humor doesn't work and too much of the action is sped up but it's a decent enough watch that moves at a brisk pace and at under an hour long it's an easy watch. The one gripe I have about this movie however is the fact that if the Indians or even the bad guy didn't want to have the telegraph go up why didn't they just burn or cut down the telegraph poles?

A Warner Bros 'B' western starring none other then John Wayne and his horse Duke. And talk about mis-casting! Frank McHugh as a cavalry man! Well, he was there as a sidekick and comic relief, but that uniform looked so so wrong on him! The plot is of the normal kind. A evil white man has manipulated the redskins and the war is on. And a pretty enjoyable battle to end it all. Lots of action along with comic input too from McHugh and Otis Harlan. And you can guess who saved the day....
